Action Packed Week

This past week has been super busy one. We started out heading to Cleveland on Saturday to watch Jazz vs. Cavs basketball game. This was our second Cavs game and it was awesome! Lane was one of the five Jazz fans that were in the arena. I was very happy that A- Lane wore a Jazz shirt. B- He didn't get beat up and 3- I didn't get beat up for being with him. (: The Jazz put up a good fight and I really did think they were going to pull it off in the end. The Cavs snuck in the win but it was a good game. It was fun to watch both teams I did get a little worn out cheering all night for both sides.

On Tuesday Lane and I went to
It was so amazing! It definitely put me in the mood for Christmas.

Thursday night a couple of my friends from work and I went to the opening night of New Moon. It was so much fun. The theatre here was offering a double feature of Twilight and then New Moon. It is cool to think that both of my co-workers and the 2 other gals with us I actually introduced the book to them and they all love them it is neat.

Our new fireplace

This past week we had installed a fireplace insert in the house. We had an existing fireplace that needed a lot of repair so Lane and I decided that it would be more economical if we had an insert put in. It has been so nice to have on some recent cold nights in Cincy... we are loving it! Thankfully as always I have Lane to show me how to start a fire- it has been a few years since I have started one and I was having trouble doing it correctly.

Also on a side note look at these orange colored roses aren't they beautiful!

Our first Halloween in the house

Lane and I were both so excited this year for Halloween because we were actually going to have Trick-or-Treaters!! We have always lived in an apartment and never would see any. The neighborhood that we live in now has lots of little kids so we knew we would have a few. The first one came right at 6pm she was probably 4 or 5 years old and she was dressed like pocahontas so cute!! It is a little different in Cincy everyone sits in there driveway to hand out candy so the kids to have to go to the door. Plus it is a way to socialize with your neighbors. The Gattuso family came over to have Izzy trick-or treat in the neighborhood. On there way

The Gattuso Family

Baby Kate

Izzy the tinkerbell princess
After all the fun with handing out candy we headed to watch a movie. Something a little scary but not too much (I am a total Scaredy Cat) SIGNS
We had such a fun time hanging out for our first Halloween in the house it was perfect!
